What you need

tbsp soy sauce

lb pork belly

tbsp garlic

tbsp mirin

dash sesame oil

dash sesame seed

tsp ginger

tbsp honey

tbsp dried chili flakes

cup rice

tbsp vegetable oil

tbsp korean chili paste
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, prepare the sauce by combining minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, mirin, gochugaru, gochujang, and honey. Mix well. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pot or large pan over medium-high heat. 3. Add the thinly sliced pork belly and cook, stirring, until it's mostly cooked through. 4. Add the sliced onion and chopped scallions to the pot. 5. Pour the prepared sauce over the ingredients in the pot. 6. Stir everything together to coat evenly and cook until the pork is fully cooked and the onions are tender. 7. Cover the pot and let it simmer for a minute or two to let the flavors meld. 8. Uncover, drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. 9. Garnish with additional chopped scallions. 10. Serve immediately, typically over a bowl of steamed rice.
