Instant Gamjatang

A quick and easy recipe for a Korean pork and potato stew, known as Gamjatang, using thinly sliced pork for a faster cooking time. Korean chili paste here = dwenjang.

What you need
tbsp perilla leaves

bunch green onion

lb pork

fl oz beef bone broth
tbsp gochugaru

cup kimchi

tbsp gochujang

clove garlic clove

cup water

tbsp seeds
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, doenjang, gochujang, and gochugaru to create a seasoning paste. 2. In a pot, add the thinly sliced pork, kimchi, beef bone broth, and water. 3. Add the seasoning paste to the pot and stir to combine all ingredients. 4. Cover the pot and bring to a boil. Let it cook for approximately 10 minutes. 5. Add the sliced potatoes to the stew, stir, cover, and continue to cook until the potatoes are tender. 6. Add chopped green onions and perilla leaves to the pot. 7. Sprinkle a generous amount of crushed perilla seeds on top. 8. Stir to combine all the toppings and serve hot.
